Auction recommendations

We recommend targeting grade 4 or higher vehicles that are accident-free and free from significant damage. Lower-grade vehicles can offer excellent value, but they should be purchased with the understanding that additional repairs or refurbishment may be required once the vehicle arrives.

For track-only, project or parts vehicles, you are welcome to bid on vehicles of any grade at your own discretion and risk.

Our team provides professional auction sheet translation and vehicle assessment, with in-house representatives in Japan who can inspect selected vehicles on our behalf. This additional level of oversight gives you greater confidence and transparency when purchasing from Japanese auctions.

However, not every vehicle can be physically inspected by our Japanese representatives. Certain auction houses, locations or supplier arrangements may restrict access to third-party inspections. Where an inspection is not possible, our assessment is based primarily on the official auction sheet, photographs and information provided by the Japanese auction house, which is also governed by Japanese law.
